May I oblige a line from one of your earlier posts and ask you about your Five Pebbles x Unparalleled Innocence interpretation? It's nice to see someone else into that ship, and seeing as there's so much potential for how the ship can be portrayed (mainly based on how each person establishes/develops UI as a character), I'd like to hear someone else's interpretation of it! Plus, it's definitely still a rarepair in the fandom as of now, and I think it deserves some love!

even with all of this compounded together, she isn't a bad person. it's vague enough ingame that i choose to believe she had good intentions when she discovered pebbles' condition. she sent overseers to his can because she's nosy like that, saw the rot, freaked out and sent it to everyone. i think she wanted to help but wasn't sure what else to do.

my interpretation of unparalleled innocence is meant to be a subversion of the "mean girl trope" as i find that trope to be rather shallow. she's very impulsive and doesn't think before she acts which gets her into trouble more often than not. she has trouble with empathy and doesn't always consider the feelings of others. she also can't keep a secret to save her life.

her structure was a museum, art center and fashion capital and she was frequently treated by her citizens as an icon or a symbol and not a living, thinking being. she holds a bit of resentment due to this, and it is in part why she has trouble expressing herself properly.

she already has a reputation for being brash, "rude" and a gossip, something she doesn't really attempt to combat as she doesn't see a point in doing so. she hides a thick layer of cynicism and futility about her situation behind a cheerful mask. it doesn't help that her relationship with pebbles is somewhat of a rivalry. the two constantly butt heads, within and outside of the local group. they bicker, and she likes it because she likes the attention she gets from him. i do think she harbors a bit of a crush on him but isn't sure how to handle it so she annoys the hell out of him instead. the two don't hate each other they just get on each others nerves a lot lol

innocence, being slightly older than pebbles, is one of the few iterators who see eye to eye with him and view him as an equal. this is why i find the ship appealing apart from being really into enemies to lovers type stuff. most others see pebbles as little more than "moon's neighbor" or "moon's replacement". innocence does not. they're both the youngest in their local group, which definitely aids how she sees him. i feel like they would both be able to peel back each others layers. inno sometimes boasts about things she knows are wrong, if only to get him into correcting her and giving her the right answer.

tl;dr i think they just Get Each Other. even if they bicker there is a mutual level of understanding and a balance in their dynamic that pebbles lacks with other members of the group. innocence cares about *him* and not what he is or what he supposedly represents to everyone else.

There's something really interesting about "problematic" persona's and content creators on social media because they have the very weird comfort of already showing their "worst" and therefore it's kinda hard to get their fanbases to turn against them because

1) they're used to it

2) they probably were attracted to them in the first place because of their unashamed brand/persona

Like their "worst" could never match the worst of another content creator who tries their best to be as unproblematic as possible. Especially when it comes to comparing the possible fanbase outlash.

I feel like Brennan is kind of a douche? like I really don't enjoy watching him be overly competitive on game changer, and i get this sense from him that he's trying to show everyone how clever he is even though he's just average (e.g. some of his d20 npcs are poorly researched caricatures of certain nationalities, according to some anons here recently).

i also wonder if people just pretend to like him because he executive produces, and they'll stop getting calls if they say anything remotely negative

Since gaining a reputation as competitive, they played it up, and now it's part of his archetype, in the same way Grant being overly horny is part of his. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASSUME SHIT ABOUT THE REAL PEOPLE BEHIND THIS SHOW because, and i cannot stress this enough you don't know who they are

and I am not about to let the most baseless and random accusation of workplace intimidation conspiracy theory type bullshit just fly round here. You realize how insane that last paragraph is right? that shit is like, a workplace harassment lawsuit you're just baselessly accusing a guy of because you don't like the character he plays

i know this is tumblr, but this is the most "shitty calloutpost" ask I've gotten, it's got all the works, a bunch of unconnected reasons why he's a bad person with no evidence, lots of uninformed opinions, and a cherry on top, the slander is all wrapped up in a bow of anonymity.

I have been reflecting more and more on the Two Groomers situation and actually the way those type of blogs act with their followers is scarilingly similar to the way those two people manipulated the majority of us? I act as an older sibling i call you sweet nicknames and i act silly in front of you we are friends you can tell just abou anything to me no trust me!!!! Hmm... was thinking back on Ye Olde Days (literally 3 years ago) when i was still part of the bnha fandom and out of curiosity i decided to check those writing blogs that made reader inserts (i say out of curiosity NOT because i didn't read those type of stuff, but because i specifically didn't read it on tumblr as most of them are wildly ooc) and i have noticed this certain trends where the owners of the blog often? Encouraged the creation of a parasocial relationship between them and the followers? Like. Idk they gave the slightest enough of information to illude the followers that they had _something_ but also nothing too personal and also referred to their anons as nonnies or had cute nicknames and spoke to them in a personal way and now that they added polls they also do things like "hehe rate my silliest moment" which again _would_ be fine if it was a question for your circle of moots? But in these cases it's always a public writing blog where total strangers with whom you only have a superficial relationship which again deepens their illusion of knowing you. And like its very telling that the x reader community was also the one with the biggest dramas harassment and shitpiling

AHHHH HI okay i haven't talked about my ui interpretation so im gonna do the ask game and also ramble about her :3 rambling will be under the cut, ask game will be right here vvv

how i feel about her: i started out hating her just because of the throwaway line from chasing wind but she kinda grew on me? idk i like "mean" girl characters. she's one of my faves now and basically my oc at this point since we know nothing about her

my ships: calloutpost/milkshake (her and five pebbles) i think it would be funny. i have a lot of thoughts about them actually please ask me about them

my brotp: her and no significant harassment would be so fucking funny together i fear. i take sig as something of a prankster and he and inno would have some pretty terrible ideas

unpopular opinion: i don't actually think inno is as mean/as much of a bully as one would think. a lot of people take wind's dialogue at face value which is understandable tbh. usually when a character says something else about a character and there isn't any real firsthand confirmation of whether or not its true its probably safe to assume that it IS true. we know nothing about this character aside from the fact that wind thinks she's mean, and their dialogue implies that this is something that happens a lot. i like to interpret inno as being really impulsive and a huge gossip, but i don't necessarily think she's cruel or malicious. this is just what i think though lol

thing i wish happened: idk i wish she actually got dialogue instead of just being offhandedly mentioned once. she is so interesting to me solely because of that one line of dialogue. what are they implying about you babygirl. i want to know...

ill just be elaborating on her personality a bit here. like i said earlier, she is very impulsive and nosy and likes to gossip. do not tell her your secrets because she can't keep them to save her life!! she also struggles a lot with empathy and has trouble relating to others. she tends to be very stubborn which leads her to butt heads with other iterators. i don't think she is intentionally cruel but she does have a bit of a mean streak that shows with those who are just as stubborn as she is. she and five pebbles in particular bicker a lot. she has low self esteem and because everyone else perceives her as being "mean", it's something she leans into simply because she doesn't feel that it's worth it to try and convince anyone otherwise.

Disclaimer for everyone reading this that this former mutual now has me blocked, but I'm laughing at this so let's make a bullet point list, starting from bottom to top.
